Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar storage technologies BerkatSoft uses on berkatsoft.com, what they are used for, and how you can give or withdraw consent.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use the browser's local storage (localStorage), which works in a similar way. In this policy both are called "cookies".

Always-on cookies (necessary)

The following are needed for the site to work according to your choices and are not used for advertising:

• lang (cookie, 1 day) and lang (local storage): remembers your language (Indonesian or English).
• bs_cookie_consent (local storage, 12 months): remembers your choice in the cookie banner so it does not appear on every visit.
• Our network and security provider (Cloudflare) may set technical cookies to protect the site from malicious traffic.

Ad measurement cookies (only with your consent)

If you choose Accept in the cookie banner, we enable the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms to measure visits and the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram ads. If you choose Decline or have not chosen yet, the Meta Pixel is not loaded and no data is sent to Meta.

Once you accept, the Meta Pixel may set the cookies _fbp and _fbc (usually valid for 90 days) and send Meta the following:

• the pages you visit (PageView), including the service pages you view (ViewContent);
• when you tap the button to contact us on WhatsApp (Contact);
• when you successfully subscribe to the newsletter (Lead) or submit a job application (SubmitApplication), without the form contents such as your name, email or phone number;
• technical information your browser sends, such as IP address, browser type and device.

We have turned off the Meta Pixel's additional automatic collection (for example clicks on other buttons). The data is processed by Meta Platforms and may be transferred to and stored outside Indonesia under Meta's privacy policy (facebook.com/privacy/policy).

Other third-party services

The Contact page includes a chat widget from a third-party provider. Messages you type in the chat are processed by that provider to answer your questions. We do not use Google Analytics.

Changing or withdrawing consent

You can change your choice at any time through the Cookie settings link at the bottom (footer) of every page. Withdrawing consent stops the Meta Pixel, removes the _fbp/_fbc cookies from our site and shows the banner again. We will also ask again after 12 months.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Some features, such as remembering your language, may not work if cookies are blocked.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when the site or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest update.
